Karoor Grama Panchayat is located in the Kottayam district of Kerala. The area is characterized by the flat terrain typical of central Kerala, consisting primarily of low-lying and moderately elevated plains.

This region experiences a tropical climate. Favorable conditions for agriculture exist due to adequate rainfall received from both the Southwest and Northeast monsoons. Crops such as paddy, rubber, coconut, and banana are widely cultivated here.
